SouthCAP In Motion Workshop Series — Spring 2025
Southern Counties California Arts Project (SouthCAP) presents In Motion Workshops, a workshop series engaging teachers in theatre, dance, and visual arts! Join SouthCAP this spring in one, two, or the entire series of workshops to ignite your creativity and develop your artistic knowledge, skills, and literacy.
Develop character and improvisation skills in “Storie in Motion,” explore the elements of dance in “Bodies in Motion,” and investigate drawing in “Lines in Motion,” all while generating ideas to integrate the arts into the classroom.
Each professional learning workshop offers hands-on experiences in a half-day, virtual environment, where you can explore, experiment, and learn from the comfort of your own home. Open to educators in TK-12, there is no theatre, dance, or visual arts experience necessary. These workshops are perfect for teachers looking to try out an art discipline to bring the arts into the classroom, or for those teaching the arts looking for inspiration and continued practice.
