Ryman Arts Day at CSUSB

RIMS California Arts Project (RIMS CAP) is proud to be a supporter for our 2nd Ryman Arts Day at Cal State San Bernardino. This event is made for students, parents, and teachers to learn about what the Ryman Arts program is, what classes are like, and how to apply for it successfully. Like all Ryman Arts classes, this opportunity is free for everyone.

Informational Presentation
9:30 AM – 10:15 AM
An informational presentation about Ryman Arts followed by a Q&A session, open to everyone! You can just attend this then be finished if you don’t want to stay for a drawing workshop.

Drawing Workshop 1 — Teachers and Parents
10:15 AM – 12:30 PM
Teachers and parents will draw a figure model under the guidance of a Ryman Arts faculty member.

Drawing Workshop 2 — Students
10:15 AM – 12:30 PM
Students in grades 9–12 will make a still life drawing that can be used in their Ryman Arts application.

 

Ryman Arts is a nonprofit community arts organization that has been providing college-level art classes to high school students for free, since 1990. Starting in January 2026, Ryman Arts will be having classes on Saturdays on the campus of Cal State San Bernardino for the first time, in addition to classes offered on the campuses of USC, Cal State Fullerton, and Otis College of Art & Design.
