Culture, Community, & Movement: Hip Hop as a Pathway to Connection and Technique
RIMS California Arts Project’s (RIMS CAP) one-day workshop Culture, Community, & Movement: Hip Hop as a Pathway to Connection and Technique engages teachers in culturally sustaining dance pedagogy that aligns diverse dance forms with the California Arts Standards in Dance. This professional learning will provide ways to integrate Hip Hop into a comprehensive dance curriculum, embedding identity, intellect, criticality, skills and joy into dance instruction and learning.
Join our one-day workshop to engage and explore through a Master Class with Versa-Style Dance Company as we look at ways to partner with dance organizations and to expand student learning in dance.
