The Nexus of Arts & Career Arts in Education
TCAP’s Courageous Creativity Conference is an arts education leadership conference grounded in the aspirations of the CA Arts Education Framework, CA Arts Standards, and the opportunities presented by the Arts and Music in Schools Funding (AMS).
Students’ learning in the arts supports meaningful exploration of complex subject matter that simultaneously engages students in arts-based knowledges along with other ways of thinking and being.

Registration fee: $750 per person (fee does not include rooming or parking)

Registration Cancellations: Registration cancellations prior to April 6, 2026, will be charged a $125 cancellation fee per registration. After April 6, 2026, no refunds will be issued.
Tentative Conference Schedule & Meals*
All start and end times are estimates and may be adjusted as needed.
- June 30 — 3:30 PM — Registration opens
- June 30 — 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM — Opening session, dinner, and keynote
- July 1 — 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM — Breakfast and lunch provided
- If conditions allow there may be an opportunity for an optional late evening event
- July 2 — 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM — Breakfast and lunch provided
*A schedule link will be sent late spring. Changing conditions may cause adaptations to the schedule for health, safety, or resort reasons.
Discounted Conference Rooming & Parking Information
A limited number of discounted hotel rooms at the Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel® and Spa have been secured for booking by conference attendees only. TCAP will send, via email, access to booking information after completed registration and check or PO is received. Rooms are subject to availability.
Discounted conference nightly room rate is $454.00 which does not include, taxes, fees, or parking.
As of December 2025, the current parking fee for Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel® and Spa is $45.00 for self-parking per day and $75.00 for valet per day. For attendees who are not staying at the hotel overnight, the parking fee is for once in, once out privileges and not for in/out privileges. Taxes, fees, and parking are subject to change.
Room reservations must be made by Wednesday, May 20, 2026, or before the group rooms are sold out. Prevailing rates may apply after May 20, 2026 or when the group rooms are sold out, whichever occurs first. These special rates are exclusively for the registrants of TCAP’s Courageous Creativity Conference only.
